The restaurant staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. The food and service were very good.  The location and decor were aesthetically pleasing.

Delighted to find this place. Off the main drag, very full on a Sunday evening, with reasonable prices.  Recommended white wine (&euro;24 bottle) excellent.  Starter, main and coffee for three :&euro;137.  Good, medium-priced meal.

It was a very nice evening. Wine good, food good and service good!Except the ravioli Norma. They were ok but a bit basic.Our Kids 2 and 6 had them too. They liked them. They Billed for the kids ravioli 2x 25&euro;.It was not enough for them so we had to order extra pasta. I hope that was a mistake.... 50&euro; for two kids pasta is strange even if it would be a star retaurant which it is not.... All in all its  a very nice location. If you like Taormina you will like this place too!

Cute family run restaurant on a side street had yummy bruschetta, great pizza, and aperol spritz! After sight seeing around Taormina, it was nice to have a bit of reprieve at Shelter. Staff was friendly and spoke english!

Our waiter was meraviglioso!! Very attentive and sweet! Works hard! The food is incredible! The caves below are worth a peek. An unbelievable story and fascinating to see. Grazie mille!

Medusa bistro during the day and night, this is still a hotel, next to one of the city gates, there is a small post office, there are many cute kittens here! The small hotel is really thoughtful, very literary!

thoroughly enjoyed the quality of food, service and ambience

Noisy kids party was abit off putting hence the the three score for ambience, shame really as we both enjoyed the food. The staff were very good also

We were a bit hesitant at first as we were the first ones arriving and it was still early (19,00) but eventually we were really happy with our choice. The staff is really great and the food delicious. The ambience was really nice, quiet and beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely time an would recommend this to others.
